Welcome to Pure & Lovely Things.
The Bible tells us to think about "whatever is pure, whatever is lovely."
Jesus said “If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."
Buddha said "Our life is the creation of our mind."
Confucius said "The more man meditates upon good thoughts, the better will be his world and the world at large."
Gandhi said "A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks he becomes."
Albert Einstein said "Physical concepts are free creations of the human mind, and are not, however it may seem, uniquely determined by the external world."
Charles Haanel said "The vibrations of mental forces are the finest and consequently the most powerful in existence."
Eckhart Tolle says that "acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation of all abundance."
Let's harness the power of collective knowledge,of faith and of our own thoughts to Live a peaceful & Purposeful life
Hi. I'm Kelly. I'm a writer, interior designer, armchair philosopher and eternal simplifier.
I study the writings of sages and philosophers throughout history and our current time to uncover how to live more peacefully, joyfully and meaningfully in the midst of an ever-changing, fast and demanding world.
I share what I learn through simple posts and practical ideas on how to apply the wisdom of the ages (and common sense) to daily life. I also write from my own experience overcoming (and still working on) anxiety, panic attacks, depression, binge eating and loneliness.
I've immersed myself in personal development and spiritual growth in the hope that I can inspire you with the peace and enlightenment I'm continuing to access more and more.
